The consultation for the ‘Travelling Safely’ measures is currently open, and closes to responses on 20th May 2023.
After a collision and vandalism damaged both the guard rails they have now been repaired and reinstated.
Following agreement of the Lib Dem budget - which put extra money into flood protections - Hal Osler is working to secure the investment where it is most needed.
Following the serious flooding at the end of last year, Hal is working to improve the management and information around the Water of Leith Flood Defences.
After the crossing has been hit yet again, Hal is working to get the junction reconsidered from a pedestrian point of view.
The Council has set its budget for the coming year, with Lib Dem proposals securing investment on a number of key priorities, including road repairs and flooding.
