The significant surface flooding we saw in many areas of the ward before New Year was very concerning. We have raised specific concerns after the recent events regarding Dovecot Road, Blinkbonny Avenue, the wider Saughtonhall area and the foot of Kaimes Road.
As part of our campaigning to improve basic services, we have been pushing for the council to take the issue of blocked drains and gullies much more seriously. If you are aware of outstanding blocked gullies or drains, please get in touch.
