Backing residents on road safety

Traffic calming and damaged roads are some of the issues raised most regularly with us as councillors.

Local Lib Dem councillor Euan Davidson said, "We hear from local people every day with significant safety concerns that could be eliminated with
adequate repair work and traffic calming measures.

"For example, we have been working with residents of Kinellan and Ellersly Roads who have been calling for road safety measures for several years.

"As such, we have written to Angus Robertson, the local MSP, to ask that he uses his position as a member of the Cabinet, to release more funds from the Scottish Government to prioritise road safety. Local people feel ignored and let down, we call for Angus Robertson MSP to act now
and prioritise the safety of his constituents."
