The LTN team have confirmed that the works for the Featherhall Avenue one-way system and Manse Road bus gate have been delayed due to significant gas works on Meadow Place Road; these will now be introduced in April.
We know that a lot of residents are concerned about these and related works around the High Street. This was a decision that was made before we were elected. The LTN is regarded as a trial scheme so it will have a consultation associated with it.
We are keen that the community’s concerns are listened and responded to – so it will be vitally important for as many people to get involved in this as possible. When the consultation is live, we will be sure to share an update with you, this will likely be in April.
