Torwood Path finally completed!

After a three-year campaign, it's great to see the work on the Torwood path finally completed and open to the public. 

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, "It's taken so long to get here, but it's really great to see the path now open. 

"So many residents have been in touch over the years to tell me how dangerous the unlit, poorly maintained path was, but how they had no choice but to use it to get home. A dreadful surface, exposed wires and abandoned rubble all made it even more desperately in need of being fixed.

“Hopefully, people will now feel much safer walking along the path. There's still some tidying up to do, and I'll be getting in touch with the Council about getting the sides of the path planted up."
