Torwood Crescent Path Works Planned

Work to widen and provide lighting on the path running from Torwood Crescent towards the school and Meadow Place Road is still planned to begin this year.

Though the hope was to begin in April, there has been a hold up as the Council waits for a decision from Transport Scotland.

The path is to be widened, and lighting installed, as part of the West Edinburgh Link project.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, “I’m glad this work is still going ahead, even if it has been delayed from the original timeline. This path desperately needs sorting out. We’ll be keeping an eye on this project, and will keep you updated as we learn more.”
