Tackling Homelessness in West Edinburgh

Following a recent report from Shelter which revealed reveal that Edinburgh has the highest homelessness figures of Scotland’s cities, she has urged the UK Government to develop a new approach to helping charities and local authorities to end homeless right across the country.

She secured confirmation from the UK Government that they would consider holding a debate to try and find a way forward to increase the number of social houses and financial support available to local authorities.
