Strachan Road Resurfacing

Many residents have been in touch about the poor state of Strachan Road although it was only resurfaced a few years ago.

Lib Dem Councillor Hal Osler says “I’ve been in touch with officers who have now inspected the surface and agree it does needs to be redone. There are a couple of options under consideration, the first being to do the same again, effectively just spraying on the road surface.

"The second is to do more extensive work and re-lay the road surface itself.

"I am pushing for the second option as I feel from the recent experience, that is what is really needed for Strachan Road.”
