Strachan Road (Farmers Junction End)

After a very successful campaign, it looks as if improvements may be made to Strachan Road at Farmers junction. 

Amongst the improvements being suggested is a staged crossing of Strachan Road which has been requested for a number of years.

Local Lib Dem Councillor Hal Osler says “I am incredibly grateful to the local community and to Sight Scotland for all their help on this. Although designs are in the process of being finalised, we do not know at present how long they will take to implement. 

What is being suggested definitely will help improve the safety of all those using this junction. Obviously I will being following this up and working with officers to get these improvements delivered as soon as is possible. Thank you to everyone who has written to me about this over the years.”
