St Margaret's Park Pillar

Many thanks to those who got in touch over the weekend to report the parlous state of the entrance pillar to St Margaret’s Park.
As a result, officers quickly got it made safe and cordoned it off. Now that it is safe, it will be fully repaired in the next few weeks. It is thought that a vehicle collided with the pillar.
Local Lib Dem councillor Alan Beal said, “I’m delighted that officers moved so quickly in response to the three Councillors reporting this – it could have been very dangerous.”
