Safer Routes between Newbridge and Ratho Station

Increasing volumes of traffic means that it is more important than ever that road safety improvements are put in place on the pedestrian route from Newbridge to Ratho Station. There are often HGVs and large amounts of traffic on these roads at all hours of the day. Coupled with a lack of crossings, it can be extremely difficult for many people to walk between the villages, especially children on their way to the primary school.

Councillor Kevin Lang said "Getting to school without difficulty is every child's right and improvements along this route would not only improve safety but better connect the two communities."
