Road Safety in Gogarloch Update

After a petition by Gogarloch residents was submitted to the Council’s Transport Committee, safety concerns on Gogarloch Road will be considered for funding next year. 

The petition raised residents’ concerns about the speed of traffic coming off the Broadway via the roundabout and onto Gogarloch Road, following a series of incidents in the past few years, and will now be considered for the Council’s Local Traffic Improvement (LTI) programme.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, “I’m glad the committee accepted the Lib Dem suggestion to consider this under the LTI programme. That way we can hopefully get some movement on fixing this problem.”
