Road repairs underway

Much-needed road and pavement repairs across Drum Brae/Gyle are now underway, with several streets in the area already having been repaired.

Local Lib Dem councillor Robert Aldridge said, “The Lib Dem team fought hard to ensure extra funding was given to road repairs again this year, and it’s great to see streets like Craigmount Avenue North and Rannoch Road getting the repairs they need.

“There are some streets which need serious improvements which aren’t on the programme for this year, like Craigmount Grove North, Craigs Road, Clermiston Avenue and the bottom stretch of Clermiston Crescent, and we’ll be keeping up the pressure to get these repaired as soon as possible.”
