Queensferry Road

Complaints and concerns about the state and the safety of Queensferry Road are increasing.

Local Lib Dem councillor Hal Osler said, "I have written to the Convenor of the Transport and Environment Committee about the dangerous extent of potholes as well as the safety concerns of residents accessing the Craigleith junction, on account of the impacts of the Travelling Safely (Spaces for People) measures.

"I will keep pushing for improvements to be made so that residents are able to move around safely, no matter what mode of transport they use.

"I would also like to remind residents that there is a consultation out at the moment regarding the extension of the Travelling Safely measures which might become permanent and I would urge residents to respond via this link: https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/roads-pavements/view-comment-traffic-orders-new/4."
