Plans on course for Cramond/Gyle Bus Link

The promised new bus link between Cramond and the Gyle shopping centre has come one step closer after several operators showed interest in running the service.

Local Liberal Democrats have fought for years to get a new bus connection to the Gyle. Over the winter, council officers sought interest from bus companies on operating this and other directly funded services across Edinburgh. A specific tender aware for the Cramond-Gyle is now planned.

Councillor Louise Young said: “With multiple bus operators interested in running the council’s support buses, we hope to see this new service up and running in the next few months.
