Parkgrove Loan Repairs

Following a motion by local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley, Council officers are developing proposals to deal with a number of issues on Parkgrove Drive.

This is due on top of the team's recent success in getting substandard work on Parkgrove Loan revisited and one properly.
There have also been several reports of basic repairs not being undertaken properly and repairs crumbling within days - which led to the team securing the fresh round of works on Parkgrove Loan.

Ed said: “Its great to get the Loan sorted, but it highlights the need to do the same on the Drive. Proposals have been substantially delayed, which is incredibly frustrating, and substandard repairs are not helping at all."

“I want to make sure that, whatever comes forward, the proposals are focused on the needs of the community – and that means fixing the long-running issues with the state of the road surface and rat-running."
