Our views on the Future of the Tram

Many residents have been in touch, asking about our opinions on possible extensions of the tram line.
Local councillor Alan Beal said, "We are completely opposed to any tram route being built on the path network around Ravelston and Murrayfield.
"These paths are a vital part of our active travel network and a great resource for the community and should not be built upon.
"Any new tram route should take a different route. To support an additional tram line we would have to see a strong business case and financial model which haven't materialised so far."
