Orchard Park - Swale Update

A meeting was held in October with officers and residents at Orchard Park, to discuss the swale project now that it is actually taking shape, to explain in more detail how it is going to help alleviate flooding issues in the area. The meeting was also a chance to listen to residents’ feedback on more general points. There were a number of concerns raised about speeding, anti-social parking and how these issues should be managed going forward. These are being taken into consideration as plans develop, to see what can be done at this point as we wait for the next stage of the Council’s controlled parking scheme which should come in by the end of 2025.
