North Gyle Flooding Update Aug '24

The North Gyle Flood Study secured by the work of residents in the North Gyle Community Flood Group and the Lib Dem team has now been completed.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, “It’s good that we’ve finally got these recommendations for how the flooding issues in North Gyle can be addressed, and we understand that some are already being brought in.

“There’s no quick fix to this problem, and lots of little changes should each make a small difference. The next challenge is how these changes are going to be funded – and the Lib Dem team will be pursuing this over the coming months.”
