Meadow Place Road Closure

We were shocked to learn late last week that Meadow Place Road was going to close for weeks, with only a few days’ notice.

We know how this would be likely to cause further traffic chaos in the area and will be very frustrating for so many road users. We did suggest ways to ameliorate some of the issues, but to no avail. 

 As well as CCWEL, there are several upcoming major roadworks in the area, such as Saughtonhall Drive and the West Approach Road to name but two. We are seeking better planning by the Council of these major works and similar.
