Locals back plan for Cramond Campus

Plans for a sports pitch, padel tennis courts, fitness centre, and café at the Cramond Campus site have been backed by a significant majority of those who fed in views to the initial consultation.

Part of the site would be used to a care home and later living facility.

However, most of the old campus would be converted into sports and leisure facilities.

Lib Dem councillor, Lewis Younie, said: “It is encouraging to see such a positive initial response to the plans for the campus site. After years of delay and inactivity, we should see a firm planning application later this year.”
