Lib Dems Fight to Save Roseburn-Telford Path

Following a recent Transport and Environment Committee meeting, the consultation for the next phase of the tram project was agreed upon. A concerning point about this, is one of the suggested routes is the Roseburn-Telford path.

Hal Osler says “Many residents have been in touch expressing their worries about the loss of this vital greenspace. The path is more than just a travel route. It has become a haven for so many in the community and is an important wildlife corridor in the middle of the city. We need to draw a red line and send a clear message that this well loved space deserves protection and respected for what it is because once it is gone its gone. We in the Liberal Democrat Group have launched a petition to call for the path to be saved."
