Lib Dem success for road resurfacing in Cramond

A push from the local Lib Dem team has meant the poor work carried out last year to resurface parts of Whitehouse Road, Gamekeeper’s Road and Cramond Road South has now been redone. 

Within days of the new surface being put down back in 2022, it began to break up. 

Cllr Louise Young said, “Like many residents, we were disgusted by the shoddy work carried our last year.  After pushing hard, we got transport officers to return this summer with a different and better quality material. 

"We want to thank everyone for their patience while we worked to get this sorted.”
