Following the publication of the report into the construction of Edinburgh’s tram network, Edinburgh West MP Christine Jardine said:
“I am glad to see Lord Hardie’s inquiry into Edinburgh’s tram network has finally published its report.
“It is disappointing we have taken so long to get to this point, particularly for my constituents whose lives and businesses were heavily disrupted by delays.
“Now, public bodies across Scotland must learn the lessons of this inquiry to make sure that important national infrastructure projects in future do not suffer from the same problems.”
