Inverleith Park Improvements
Earlier this year Council agreed a Lib Dem amendment that would see a £4m capital contribution coming from the new Edinburgh Visitor Levy to develop the Inverleith Park Masterplan over the coming years, which Councillor Osler has successfully pressed for.
At a recent Culture and Communities Committee a petition was discussed asking that the play facilities be repaired and or replaced to improve the facility and make it accessible for all users.
Hal said “As a local Lib Dem team, we’d like to thank the petitioners for bringing this forward and we were delighted to support this petition. Council officers will now consider the requests and feedback to the next Committee as to how this can be done, which will hopefully include adding a defibrillator accessible in the park, as suggested by a local resident.”
