Inverleith Park Depot

The Council has decided that it no longer requires to house Parks and Forestry Teams at the Inverleith Park Depot site, so will be vacating by Spring 2026. The site has a number of challenges as its on several different levels and has a number of dilapidated buildings, so consideration is being given as to what the site could be used for and how it would fit into the wider Inverleith Park Master Plan. 

A couple of stakeholder sessions have been held with park users, The Friends of Inverleith Park, Elected Members and Broughton High School to gather ideas. These have included a café, community food growing, wildlife and a biodiversity area as well as a more active and recreational space. A report to bring all these ideas together will be made available later in the summer.
