Leith Walk Lib Dem councillor Jack Caldwell has written to the Scottish Premier Football League regarding some of the unacceptable scenes and five arrests at the Edinburgh derby the other week.

He says "No-one deserves that on their doorstep or have that book-ending an important derby.

Discussions are ongoing and I'm very grateful for every resident who's been in touch to submit evidence."

He has also been liaising with the Public Safety department of the Council to explore better mitigations going forward, and improved toilet facilities.
