  • Closure to traffic from 7.00 pm through to 6.00 am

Councillor Neil Ross has received the following update from the Council and attached pictures showing the closures and suggested diversion routes.

"The final carriageway resurfacing at the junction of Greenbank Terrace and Greenbank Crescent will take place over a period of 5 nights from Monday 26th February. The road will be closed to traffic from 7pm each evening through to 6am the following morning.

Advance warning signs will be placed in the next few days to notify road users on the main approaches of the junction, and I’ve arranged a letter drop to those properties directly affected by the works.

We acknowledge that these works will cause disruption to local residents and road users, and every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. The work most likely to involve disturbance will be carried out earlier in the evening shifts to be complete at a reasonable time.

This final major phase of the works will see the project substantially complete with only some footway surfacing, sign erection and remedials remaining. The new signalised junction layout is to be site tested next week and should be fully commissioned soon after."
