Green Light for Drum Brae Crossing

Work on the long-awaited lights-controlled crossing at the junction of Drum Brae North and Drum Brae Drive is now complete.

The crossing had been promised for years, but delayed again and again.

Local Lib Dem councillor Robert Aldridge said, “We know the works caused disruption for residents and those passing through the area, so would like to thank everyone for their patience and for reporting problems as they arose.

“There are couple of things still to solve, such as double yellow lines and parking, and we’re working to get these fixed. On the whole though, I’m delighted to see this junction up and running after pushing for it alongside residents for so long.”
