Gogarloch Road Speeding

After concerns were raised by residents, the Lib Dem team have been working to secure Council action on speeding on Gogarloch Road.

Both traffic coming off the roundabout and heading from the train station have been raised as causing concern for residents.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, “We secured a speed survey, which will be undertaken this autumn. We should get the results of that back in the winter.

“That’s the first stage of getting Council action on speeding, but is only one stage of the process.

“We know that there have been close calls lately, especially coming off the roundabout, and we’re pushing hard for appropriate action.”
