Councillor Jack Caldwell has been fighting for accessibility improvements.

Since the last update on this subject where works had completed on the Water of Leith path, Dalmeny Street, and Middlefield, works have commenced on Albert Street, Cadzow Place and Newhaven Road to rebuild some of the pavements there.

Councillor Caldwell is continuing to push for the extra £11m of investment the Lib Dems secured in the 2023/24 Council Budget to come to local pavements across Hillside, Leith, Pilrig, Broughton, Bonnington, Abbeyhill, and Canonmills, including on busy streets like Brunswick Road and Easter Road.

Residents are urged to continue reporting defects to https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/roadproblem
