Ellersly and Kinellan Road Safety

At full council, Euan lodged a question asking why the longstanding promised design work on road safety improvements for Ellersly Road, Kinellan Road and Murrayfield Road had been delayed yet again. 

We were able to get confirmation that they are scheduled to be looked at in this year's programme of works subject to further scrutiny by the Transport and Environment Committee in September. 

The delays in getting action on these dangerous spots are causing a huge amount of frustration, and we will continue to push for rapid action to improve the area.
