Edinburgh Future Libraries

The Council is progressing a new Future Libraries strategy and vision to help enhance services over the next five years, meeting the needs of residents and adapting to changing public expectations, financial pressures, and technological advances. There was a consultation earlier in the year and feedback from that has helped with producing a draft strategy which is now open to consultation. Potential options for change are altering library opening hours and how the service manages events and activities. The consultation can be found on the link here and closes on 18th December 2024.
