Difficult Parking Ward Wide

At the recent Transport and Environment Committee meeting, a list of the most difficult places to park across the whole city was revealed.

Where is the most difficult area to park? Top of the list was – Roseburn at 93%. In other words, only 7 out of 100 parking spots were free.

Lib Dem Councillor Alan Beal “This wont be a surprise to residents of Roseburn. What this means is that it will be the next area to have a Controlled Parling Zone.”

In terms of other areas in the Ward, Corstorphine is at 17; Saughtonhall was way down the list at 40; So these areas are not likely to get a CPZ anytime soon, although they will continue to be monitored. All other areas were lower than this such as South Corstorphine (56) and Ravelston.
