Davidson's Mains roundabout update

Council officers are to finally consult on new traffic orders to introduce major safety improvements at the main roundabout in Davidson’s Mains. 

It is now six years since the tragic death of a pedestrian at the roundabout. There have also been a number of near misses which have led to local concerns, especially given the area is a key route for school pupils. 

Cllr Louise Young said, “The local Lib Dem team have long pushed to make the roundabout safer for pedestrians. With a final design agreed, it is good to see progress at last on the traffic orders.”
