Crewe Road South Flooding

There has been repeated flooding at the junction between Craigleith Hill Avenue and Crewe Road South, and several failed attempts to fix the leaking water main.

Local Lib Dem Malcolm Wood said "When talking to residents recently this subject came up a lot. The repeated road closures have been disruptive, and the huge waste of water is troubling, especially with Scotland facing potential water shortages this year.

“I know contact has been made with Scottish Water and pressure is being applied to fix the leak but it is very disappointing that a publicly owned utility does not behave more responsibly.”
