Craigleith Junction SPEN Works

Work continues at the Craigleith Junction to fix the leaking cable, this has caused a number of issues over the last few weeks.

Local Lib Dem councillor Hal Osler said, “I am so grateful for the patience of residents with this horrendous situation and the endless works here. I know it has been extremely frustrating as traffic has been ground to a halt and it looks like nothing is happening. 

"SPEN have now identified where the leak is which has now prompted further works so more chaos which is being monitored.

"Officers are working with SPEN to try and get these works completed as soon as possible so the junction can be reinstated.”
