Corstorphine Dementia Project Funding

Local MP Christine Jardine recently visited the Corstorphine Dementia Project to discuss their ongoing funding concerns. 

The Project has supported adults with dementia in our area for many decades. 

Now, more restricted grant funding and spiraling transport costs have forced the service to make some difficult choices when it comes to charging for their services. 

Christine said, "It cannot be right that a service that has given so much to our community should be facing such intolerable pressures on its funding. 

"I am calling on the council and the Scottish Government to provide the necessary support for this vital lifeline. 

“I would also encourage anyone who is able to donate to the project's fundraising efforts.”
