Communal Area Works in Drum Brae

4 Apr 2024

After visiting several sites with both residents and council officers, the team are taking forward work to get areas across Drum Brae cleared up and better looked after.

Local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley said, “While some areas like drying greens are mixed ownership between the Council and owners, the Council is responsible for many of them outright – such as one on Ransome Gardens. We’re working to get these cleaned up.

“We’ve also shown council officers around the Drum Brae to see what can be done to improve several areas, such as bin areas and car parking spaces, to get them cleaned up and hopefully kept in a better state of repair.”
