Clermiston Park trench made safe

Over a year ago, utility works in Clermiston Park left a trench running through the park creating a trip hazard which was especially dangerous in the evenings and at night.

Working alongside the Friends of Clermiston Park, local Lib Dem councillor Ed Thornley has been pushing to get this repaired for over a year.

Ed said, “We’ve been in touch with the contractors and the Council chasing this work for a long time, and after I raised it in a Council Question again in June, I’m delighted to see the trench has finally been made safe and the trip hazard removed.”
