Blue Bridge Repair

Users of the Water of Leith walkway will know that presently there is no access over the blue bridge near the Britannia Hotel. Major damage to the base of the bridge happened during the heavy rains on the 30^th December and it has been closed ever since.

Confirmation has now been had that a repair (weather permitting) should be taken around the middle of February.

Hal Osler said, "I have also asked if the remaining barriers left over from previous repairs in the surrounding area could also be removed at the same time and that has been agreed."
