Bin Hub Review
The final phase of the long running communal bin review is now being progressed, this means that opportunity to review the previous phases has now opened. So if you live or have a business in a street with (newly) installed bin hubs and you would like the siting of the hub reconsidered against the new bin hub siting criteria please do email waste@edinburgh.gov.uk by Monday 2nd June.

We only require the location and/or bin hub ref to add the hub to the list. We do not require details on why the hub should be reviewed and we do not need the request to be co-signed or endorsed by anyone. We also do not need a suggestion of an alternative location (although this is welcome).
It is important to note that a hub being on the list does not necessarily mean a change will be possible at the location. Many hubs are in streets with ground floor residential properties along both sides of the street (and in nearby streets) and no blank walls or garden areas where the hub could be located.
