Action on Southside/Newington Bin Hub locations

Cllr Pauline Flannery has been working with Waste and Cleansing officers to look for alternative locations.

Cllr Flannery said "It was good to meet up with Waste Officers and residents at Fingal Place, Sciennes, to discuss the location of bin hubs recently. Suggestions as to where these could be placed, given some of the restrictions, were explored. The officers were responsive to resident suggestions and a potential compromise reached. Officers will now look at possible designs and notify residents and Ward Councillors as to outcomes. The visit would not have happened unless residents took the lead. Other residents have been in contact about Bin Hubs in Livingston Place where designs are now available."
