Action demanded on local street surfaces

Local Liberal Democrat councillors have pushed to get key local streets included in Edinburgh Councl’s next round of resurfacing plans.

After years of campaigning, the team succeeded in getting Echline Avenue and Station Road resurfaced.  However, more needs done with areas such as Springfield Crescent, Dundas Avenue, Lawson Crescent, and Standingstane Road in Dalmeny.

Cllr Lewis Younie said, “After much pressure, it’s been great to see some key local roads like Station Road and Echline Avenue being resurfaced.  However, it is clear much more needs done and so we’ll keep working to get other streest in Queensferry and Dalmeny prioritised.”
