Abbeyhill and Bonnington pavements surface treatment

Around 60 pavements are set to get surface treatment between February and July 2026 across the city, including the following three in Leith Walk ward:

• Norton Park (behind Edina Place)
• Bonnington Avenue's north side (off Newhaven Road)
• Maryfield (Abbeyhill Colonies)

This is after the Edinburgh Liberal Democrats won record investment into repairing Edinburgh's pavement, path and road maintenance in last year's budget which also saw other pavements such as Cambridge Avenue and Spey Terrace in 2025 get works done!
