Bring back the Animal Welfare Bill

In 2021, the UK government made a commitment to tackle puppy smuggling via the Animal Welfare Bill.

However, there are now concerns about the future of the bill, and fear it will not move forward.

Christine said, "Puppy smuggling continues to rise, and many local people have been in touch with me to express their concern about this.

"I have called on the UK Government to continue working towards ending this horrible practice and the movement of these poor animals."
