Tram wheels sculpture coming to Iona Street

The mechanical wheels found at the "Pilrig Muddle" will be installed permanently at the junction of Iona Street and Leith Walk. More info on the Evening News website.
Councillor Jack Caldwell said;
"Many proposals were looked at in consultation with councillors and the community council, including Newhaven, but I'm over the moon that the wheels will return to Pilrig, just metres from where they were buried.
"I felt it was vital to our community that South Leith and Pilrig's own heritage was shared, and it'll mark the first new public art sculpture on Leith Walk in decades."
