Station Road Resurfaced AT LAST!

24 Jul 2023

After a sustained 5-year campaign, the local Lib Dem have welcomed the resurfacing of Station Road.

The poor condition of this key road in and out of Queensferry had been a major source of complaint from residents. It is why local Lib Dem councillors fought hard to get the road prioritised for resurfacing along with extra traffic calming measures to improve safety around local schools.

Thanks to extra money secured by the Lib Dems; Echline Avenue, Inchgarvie Park, Ferrymuir and Society Road have or are being resurfaced this financial year as well.

Cllr Kevin Lang said, “After years of excuses and delays from the Council, we’re delighted to see this work on Station Road complete at last.

"As a local Lib Dem team, our campaign now turns to other trouble spots in Queensferry and Dalmeny, such as Shore Road, Standingstane Road, and many of the roads in the Springfield estate.”
