Sewage in the Water of Leith

We have seen the incredibly concerning footage of sewage being leaked into the Water of Leith around Roseburn.

Please be assured we are taking this issue extremely seriously and are exploring ways in which we can raise this further. 

In the meantime, a Liberal Democrat motion was passed last week at full council calling for a summit between the council, Scottish water and community groups to tackle the huge problem of sewage leaks into Edinburgh's waterways .
