Extra money for roads in Council budget

2 Mar 2023

Local councillor Euan Davidson said, "We were delighted to see our budget approved by the Council. Such difficult decisions within it were only required because it had to incorporate Scottish Government cuts of £76m, which is a huge sum for the Council.

"However, it does mean that there is an extra £11m will be spent on roads and pavements. We think that this is good news for Corstorphine Murrayfield! Lib Dem councillors have been trying to get extra funding for years, so we are delighted that it will now happen because of a LibDem budget."
